In business, you get out what you put in, and the same often goes in life! For as long as I can remember, my family have taken part in fundraisers and charity events every year. It’s a lovely way to spend time with loved ones, raise some much-needed funds, and do good all in one go! As I grew up, I began looking for other ways to do charity work and volunteering and selecting charities that were close to my heart.
I’ve always believed we should give back in whatever way we can, whether it’s donating, fundraising for a charity, raising awareness, or giving our time to others – it is more than worthwhile.
I’ve taken part various fundraising challenges over the years which included adventures like an 11,500ft skydive for St Andrews Hospice, White Water Rafting for Diabetes UK, three months volunteering in an orphanage in Romania, cycling from Edinburgh to Glasgow for Unicef, and Race for Life for Cancer Research!
What little we can give, could mean the world to another! Click the boxes below to read about some of the work I’ve been doing over the last few years!
